Gartcosh Tenants and Residents Association was invited to attend The Fairer Scotland Duty assessment at NHS Lanarkshire Board headquarters on Thursday.

The assessment examines the positive and negative aspects of the three sites regarding the social economic impact of such a strategic decision on the poorest and most vulnerable in the wider Lanarkshire community along with the effect on workforce and the local communities involved.

Gartcosh Tenants and Residents Association was delighted to be invited and contribute. A possible further two workshops may be arranged focusing on appropriate community groups who would be most affected.
